What does instant orthodontics involve?

Instant orthodontics typically refers to the placement of porcelain veneers or crowns in order to make a correct smile. Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain (about as thick as a contact lens) that are bonded to the front of your teeth. Once your porcelain veneers are bonded into place, they will adhere permanently and, with proper care, can last up to 20 years. In some cases, lava crowns (porcelain caps that cover the entire tooth) are utilized to create a more balanced look or function. Porcelain veneers are resistant to staining; they remain pearly white for their lifetime.
